Yes, you can cancel your US Samsung Account anytime. Please note that all information related to your account, such as purchases, apps and content, will be deleted and is non-transferable, should you wish to open another Samsung Account in the future. If you wish to sign up for another Samsung Account in the future, you will need to use a different email address from your original account - you will not be able to use the same email address.
Here's how to close your Samsung Account:
1. Go to www.samsung.com/us/
2. Click Login
3. Enter your Email and Password, and then click Submit.
4. Hover the cursor over HI, < YOURNAME >, and then click My Profile from the popup that appears.
5. Click My Account Info.
6. On the Edit My Account screen that appears, click Close Account
7. Confirm and then click CLOSE MY ACCOUNT.
